This is a great video. Dr., you are a very good speaker, clear, concise and make sense. Easy to understand what I thought would be an incredibly complex issue.

    Bio-Identical …
Bio-Identical hormones simply make sense. Good video thank you.

    What compounding …
What compounding pharmacy do you recommend? Also, can cytomel (an alternative to synthroid) be given safely via injection?

  4. Chamelionroses says:

    I wonder how it …
I wonder how it works on Bonobo Monkeys? They say that Bonobo Monkeys have similar DNA to humans like Chimps.
Still we are a separate monkey. What happens if one is developed with deformed sexual parts to the hormones in time? Is there things science doesn’t know about hormones in creatures? So much to this thing to know.

  6. slantythecamel says:

    I wonder if you …
I wonder if you refer to Joan Roughgarden’s work. I think you (like others apparently) mistake a somewhat biased viewed on the evolutionary reasoning behind homosexuality in nature that she takes, and somehow confuse the debate over the evolutionary function involved with the actual occurances of such behavior. Though I hope you understand there is a difference.

Read PZ Meyers science blog on this, ‘Evolution and Homosexuality”.

  7. slantythecamel says:

    If your science is …
If your science is coming from any christian or other religious influenced source, then you need to find a new source.

  8. slantythecamel says:

No I am sorry, but …
No I am sorry, but whoever told you that was either lying to you to further their own agenda (not surprising), or is in complete denial of the facts. I don’t have to argue with you about that which is scientific fact and can easily be researched. I like how you’re so certian about particulars too, particulars that are still being discussed in biology.

Seriously, do people post in comments with all the conviction in the world on a particular topic but never bother educating themselves?

  9. slantythecamel says:

    Actually I said ” …
Actually I said “straight up procreation isn’t the goal, and certainly isn’t….” etc. There is a big difference, the difference being if weaker genes are harmful to the overall species, then straight up procreation isn’t the most successful means… hence why alot of species have non-breeders the same as homosexual, some species have a single dominant male who procreates (like in apes) and the dominant genes push the species further.

Do I need to hold your hand through any more of this?

  10. watchme2day says:

    “procreation isn’t …
“procreation isn’t the goal and certainly isn’t the most successful means of passing on successful genes for a species.”

Are you a MORON? Procreation is the ONLY way species pass on traits. Even Humans (at this point in time) can only pass on genes through procreation. You sound like you were educated in California.

  11. watchme2day says:

    Bullshit — …
Bullshit — homosexuality in non-humans was documented by “Homosexuals” trying to build support for their agenda. I don’t care if you are gay but tell the truth. Exclusive homosexual “behavior” exists only in Humans. Homosexuality is about behavior and the FACT that homosexuals can and do have heterosexual sex proves it is behavior not biology. Genetic homosexuality would tend to diminish a species but such observations do not exist.

  12. slantythecamel says:

    No point in arguing …
No point in arguing with someone who is willfully ignorant of the facts.

Here’s a scientific fact that you can easily google: homosexuality has been documented in over 450 different vertebrate species.

Just because you dislike the idea of homosexuality in no way refutes the FACTS, and you can say its absurd all you want, the FACTS disagree, end of story. Nothing you say can change scientific FACT. Educate yourself on subjects before letting your personal feelings overwhelm truth.

  13. ephraim0000 says:

    The gay animals …
The gay animals myth is up there with holocaust denial in terms of absurdity! No good science to support it though a number of gay scientists and ideologically motivated zoo directors have tried. Just because one animal mounts another doesn’t mean it’s sexual. Most of the time it’s an act of dominance. In other words, one male is saying to another that he gets first pick of the females.Everything in nature points towards procreation and survival. I have no position to defend except common sense.

  14. slantythecamel says:

    Yes it is actually. …
Yes it is actually. Quite extensively in mammals and birds.

Also, homosexuality is no different in terms of procreation than non-breeders, which are also extensive in many species.
Straight-up procreation isn’t the goal and certainly isn’t the most successful means of passing on successful genes for a species.

I think you should probably look at yourself in the mirror when you say its “perpetuated by humans who have a personal position to defend.”

I bet I can guess what yours is…

You know your stuff. Glad to see your willingness to help with HRT. I report on this topic as well.

  16. gwho says:

    gay evolutionists …
gay evolutionists have got themselves into quite a conundrum. let’s see if they’re honest as well

  17. ephraim0000 says:

    ‘Homosexuality’ is …
‘Homosexuality’ is not observed in any animals. This is complete unscientific caca that’s perpetuated by humans who have a personal position to defend. Nature weeds out anything that isn’t conducive to the propagation of species. What may be observed is animals in heat jumping on something that resembles a female and attempting to procreate. The impulse is always to PROCREATE and very very very rarely they get it wrong.

  18. craaazytaco says:

    From what I know …
From what I know homosexuality has more to do than just simply a biological difference between them and heterosexuals. I have heard that homosexuality is observed in most (if not all) species of animals (or mammals?).

Also I believe, in addition to biological effects on sexuality, there are also situational affects from childhood. That is, there’s a combination of inputs that cause the person’s output to be attraction towards their own gender.
