If it was only the circumstances of time period that mattered, why does adultery, homosexuality, and so many other things still stand, though we now have protection against STDs and unwanted pregnancy, and why is slavery outlawed? What exactly, does that mean if not kill the witch?
Did that mean you politely ignored her and her actions and let her go on her way, or did that mean you gave her the ultimatum of admitting and repenting and being exiled, or getting killed for her crimes against god?
