Here is a video about women’s health and what you expect at a gynocology visit.
See, I’m not just about sexuality, but being healthy and responsible (!) about it as well.
There is nothing more respectable than a woman who takes control of her health and reproductive choices.
And also, here’s to the men who do their part and who support us!!! Kuddos to you!

    Never be scared to …
Never be scared to talk to your doctor, they are professionals. It’s a secret between you and your doctor, always. It’s in their oath:
“All that may come to my knowledge in the exercise of my profession, [...] I will keep secret and will never reveal”. (A doctor who disobey his/her oath could loose their licence)

And legally speaking, if you’re 14 or older, you decide about your health, not your parents. (In Canada at least, it may be different elsewhere, I don’t know).

the first time i went to my gyno at 19, she asked if i had sex.I hadn’t at that point and I actually had to CONVINCE her that I was a virgin. She was like, “Really? Are you sure?”…… um…… ‘yeah, i’m pretty sure.’

    At several ‘yearly’ …
At several ‘yearly’ doctor’s visit, I was asked quite a few questions not only about my sexual history, but about any history of abuse (sexual or otherwise). At the time, I was newly (and very happily!) married and a little insulted by the questions. Of course, I realize that those questions were all in my best interest. Also, many physicians will perform a breast exam. Just wanted to add my $.02 about the experience.
