@ MountAthos:You have missed the whole point. Its not about saying how health care in South Carolina fails to meet acceptable standards. The point of this is to ask why the people in South Carolina are so adamant about rejecting the people that can help them increase the quality of health care in their state.

Its like if you feel off a boat in the middle of the ocean and someone wanted to throw you a life preserver but you said no thanks because it would be infringing on your right to be there.

This poll also found that folks earning 40k/yr or less want reform. That seems to suggest that poorer families in this country have trouble affording healthcare now.

If anything is bankrupting America it is our rubber stamp for our ugly rip off Military Industrial Complex. That’s interesting, because I’m looking at a poll released today that says: Fifty-six percent (56%) of voters nationwide now oppose the health care reform proposed by President Obama and congressional Democrats. Thats the highest level of opposition yet measured. Just 43% now favor the proposal. Rasmussen

“Most Americans” who? 75% of doctors, the AMA and 70%+/- of citizens (if asked the properly worded question) want an option on HC coverage–private or government based. You know, freedom to choose.

And, Pres. Obama’s only involvement in the final outcome of any HC bill is his pen to sign or not into law.

btw, I hope the Health Insurance Co. paid you well for you soul. Because we all know that once that’s broken it’s unredeemable.
