I am not specific about Obstetrics/Gynaecology, but a doctor who deals with overall women reproductive system issues. How long does it take to become one?

Any additional information will be appreciated! :)
Momofthree The way I spelled is not wrong, it is just the difference between British and American spelling. Thank you guys!

First you need to become a general medical practioner then study to become obstetrician/ gynaecologist

You first have to get your general MD degree first, and then you specialize.

OBGYN….It will take at least 8 years of schooling…and then there is at least 3-8 years of residency depending on the speciality. It is a long time, but worth it…I plan med school myself.

Well, first of all you should use spell check so you know how to spell gynecology before you go to med school. And the name you are looking for is reproductive endocrinologist. After you finish your OB/GYN residency it will take 2-3 years then you must complete an oral and written test.
