Does anyone else think it’s a little strange that you can’t walk two feet without seeing a women’s health clinic or breast cancer awareness sticker? Sometimes I feel almost pissed off when I buy yogurt that supports breast cancer research.
Seems to me that perhaps a disproportionate amount of federal resources goes to funding women’s health. Don’t get me wrong, women are cool and all. But men already have a significantly shorter life span due to several factors…
Maybe the government just understands that men are men (The doctor said it was cancer… I CALL IT A CHALLENGE!) ?
I don’t mean to sound offensive or anything, but maybe if more men went to the doctor, there would be more places catering to men’s specific needs. Almost every single man I know won’t go to the doctor unless his head is hanging on by a thread! All other times, it’s their girlfriend/wife literally dragging them out the door to go. Also, maybe this is a subject that everyone (not just men) needs to be more vocal about…..although I would like to know where all the women’s health clinics are, because I can’t seem to find any (but I do believe you).
Money. Money is what everybody is after and they do not care how they get it as long as they get it.
